Student Ministry

Welcome to First Baptist Students. We are so glad you’ve stopped by to check out what’s going on and see what we are all about. We have a very simple philosophy about who we are and what we do here in the Student Ministry. It is to give our students Jesus. It is our heart that they are challenged, encouraged, and spurred on to be the men and women that Jesus calls them to be rather than just teenagers who think Jesus is kind of cool. When it all comes down to it, it is all about Jesus and that is who we are about here at FBCC Students.

In order to challenge students and equip them to follow Christ obediently we have several different aspects to our Student Ministry. For our sixth graders in the year of transition from elementary school to middle school, we have our preteen ministry. For students in 7th-12th grade, our middle school and high school ministries offer strategically focused Bible studies and events to meet students where they are and spur them on to know, love, and follow Jesus Christ.

Parents, it is clear in Scripture that the primary source of discipleship in a student’s life is the home.  It is our heart that the Student Ministry not replace you in that role, but that we effectively partner with you and encourage you to be the parents God has called you to be.

Weekly Events

Sunday Mornings

Worship - 9:15 am
Join us in the Worship Center on Sunday mornings. Some of our students like to sit together near the front of the Worship Center and some prefer to sit with their families during the service. Either way, we hope to see you there!

Connect - 10:45 am
High school and middle school students meet in Family Center and 6th graders meet in the Student Loft for a time of Bible study, lively discussion, and being with friends. We focus on God's Word and use a biblically based curriculum that is written specifically for students and covers topics that are relevant to today's world. Bible Fellowship classes are a great way to grow deeper in your understanding of God's Word. Click here for a complete listing of all our available classes.
