Welcome to First Baptist Students. I am so glad you’ve stopped by to check out what’s going on and see what we are all about. All the information you need is located within these few pages. Hopefully you can navigate it with ease.
I have a very simple philosophy that governs who we are and what we do here in the Student Ministry. It is to give our students Jesus. I believe Jesus Christ sets the bar for us as individuals. It is a bar none can measure up to, that is why we must place our faith in Jesus and what He has done – in His life, death, and resurrection, we are made right with God and saved from His wrath. As Christians, the call is to follow Jesus. This call does not change and Jesus did not water it down with crazy games and feel-good lessons. The world does not water down what it throws at our students and neither should we. It is my heart that students are fed the Word of God, undiluted when they are here in the Student Ministry. It is my heart that they are challenged, encouraged, and spurred on to be the men and women that Jesus calls them to be rather than just some teenagers who think Jesus is kind of cool. When it all comes down to it, it is all about Jesus and that is who we are about here at FBCC Students.
In order to challenge students and equip them to follow Christ obediently we have several different aspects to our Student Ministry. For the year of transition from elementary school to middle school, we have our preteen ministry. Our middle school and high school ministries offer strategically focused Bible study, activities, and community to meet students where they are and spur them on to know, love, and follow Jesus Christ.
Parents, it is clear in Scripture that the primary source of discipleship in a young person’s life is the home. It is my heart that the Student Ministry not replace you being the primary source of spiritual leadership in your student’s life, but that we effectively partner with you and encourage you to be the parents God has called, equipped, and purposed you to be.
I hope you are encouraged by what you find. I look forward to serving you and serving alongside you.

Sunday Mornings - 9:15 & 10:45 am
Join us in the Worship Center on Sunday mornings. Some of our students like to sit together near the front of the Worship Center and some prefer to sit with their families during the service. Either way, we hope to see you there!
High school and middle school students meet in Room 203 and 6th graders meet in the Student Loft during both hours for a time of Bible study, lively discussion, and being with friends. We focus on God's Word and use a biblically based curriculum that is written specifically for students and covers topics that are relevant to today's world. Bible Fellowship classes are a great way to grow deeper in your understanding of God's Word. Click here for a complete listing of all our available classes.

Fuse is just for our middle school students (6th-8th grade). It is a focused time where we dig deep into the Word of God in order to fuse our everyday life with our faith. We also spend time playing games and blowing off some steam. This is a great time to unwind and recharge so you can finish your week strong. We meet in the Student Loft at 6 pm on Wednesdays.
Lift - 7 pm
Lift is our mid-week experience for 9th-12th grade students. We meet in Room 203 on Wednesdays at 7 pm. It's designed to help you live out your week strong. Whether it's a night of crazy games, engaging worship or unpacking tough and relevant issues you are dealing with on a level you can understand, Lift is a time for all of our high school students to come and connect with each other and to their faith in a real way.
