First Baptist Carrollton is a great place to host events! Besides weddings, we offer our facilities for recitals, meetings, receptions, sports, and other occasions. Though we are not in the "business" of rentals, we are happy to rent our facilities for non-church activities, and we charge both members and non-members for the use of building resources. A member is one who has joined our fellowship as discussed on our Becoming a Member page. Members who request use of the facilities for personal use are charged at a discounted rate from the listed standard rate.
The purpose for charging for facility rentals is to recover expenses that the church incurs from usage, including, but not limited to, wear and tear, utilities, and custodial services. We do not attempt to profit from rentals, and we gladly provide this as a service to our members and to our community.
We have two facilities that are available for public use, our main campus on Josey Lane and our sports complex, The Fields at Carrollton Parkway.
