This year, all women are invited to retreat with us, cabin-style, on October 17-18, 2008 at Falls Creek Baptist Encampment in Davis, Oklahoma. Robin Marsh, an award-winning newscaster from Oklahoma City, will be our guest speaker.
The cost is $45 per person. Registration begins on September 2 and ends October 12, 2008. You may register online. Be sure to register early as space is limited!

Robin Marsh
an Emmy-nominated and national award-winning journalist. She joined the NEWS 9 team in April of 1995 and is the anchor for NEWS 9’s morning newscast.
In her 23 years in the business, Robin has received many honors including excellence in feature reporting from the National Academy of Television Journalists, The Society of Professional Journalists, and “Oklahoma’s Journalist of the Year.” Her series of reports on Breast Cancer is on display at the National Museum of Broadcast Journalism Center in Chicago.
Robin began her broadcast career in her hometown of Lawton in 1983. She worked at KSWO-TV Channel 7 where she was one of the youngest news anchor-reporters ever in the state. Robin then accepted a news anchor position in Amarillo, Texas and then moved to Oklahoma City in 1992.
Robin is a speaker with the International Christian Women’s Club. She has hosted the MDA Jerry Lewis Telethon. She has served as a member of the board of directors for the Baptist Foundation of Oklahoma. Robin also volunteers each year for Special Olympics, as well as many other charitable organizations.
A personal highlight for Robin was in the summer of 1997 when she spoke to over 7,000 Oklahoma students attending the Falls Creek Church Camp.
Last year, Robin received a special honor. She was recognized by the Girl Scouts of America as a “Woman of Distinction”. Robin is an accomplished equestrian and competed in rodeos and playdays in Oklahoma and Texas for over 12 years. Robin and her husband, Keith, live in Edmond and have a son named Cade.
